After a completed restructuring, Convendum is ready to take the next step. With a more stable structure, a strengthened balance sheet, and a clear growth agenda, the company is looking ahead in a market showing positive signs.
The restructuring process, which began in October 2024, has primarily involved reviewing and renegotiating the company’s lease agreements to create more sustainable terms. Through careful preparation and close collaboration with both the restructuring practitioner and landlords, the process has been successfully carried out.
Throughout the period, Convendum has received strong support from its owners, who have contributed capital, as well as from the company’s broad customer base. Many customers have chosen to stay, while new ones have also been added.
— The restructuring has been an intensive but necessary process that has made us stronger and better equipped for the future. We have established a solid foundation and a clear plan going forward, while maintaining the trust of both members and owners, says Oscar Cassel, COO of Convendum.
Operations are proceeding according to plan, and the occupancy rate stands at 77 percent, a clear increase compared to the previous year. Revenues remain at close to SEK 500 million, and the business is balanced. With a more optimized portfolio of 17 strategically selected locations, Convendum is well positioned to generate positive results in the coming years.
Increased demand
Demand for flexible, high-quality office solutions is rising as companies seek modern and cost-effective work environments. The company is now better positioned to further develop its strong concept and meet market needs. The ambition is to continue establishing new units as the market strengthens and to gain additional market share within the premium segment.
At the same time, the company is expanding its offering through its Office Management initiative, a service in which Convendum is responsible for the operation and servicing of larger companies’ offices at the clients’ own premises. With the same high level of service and focus on quality, new business opportunities and long-term customer relationships are created.
Reopening in Stockholm
As part of its continued expansion, Convendum will reopen its Odenplan location in Stockholm after the turn of the year, following a successful renegotiation of the lease agreement with the landlord on terms considered favorable by both parties. The establishment is strategically important and reflects the ambition to grow in attractive and central locations.
— Reopening at Odenplan is a clear sign of our confidence in the future and our ambition to grow in attractive and central locations, says Oscar Cassel.
